HOW TO APPLY

The New York French-American Charter School (NYFACS) is a Free, Public Charter School. 

You must be a resident of New York City in order to apply for a sEAT for your child AT NYFACS.

If a charter school receives more applications than seats available, it is required by law to hold a lottery.

Admission to NYFACS is by randomized lottery in April at the school, located at 311 West 120th Street, New York, NY 10027.

The lottery will take place on April 16, 2018

NYFACS Admission preferences are as follows:

1-  Sibling and Staff Priority

2- Students in District 3

3- Students in other NYC boroughs

Post Lottery:

Placement notices will be sent to all applicants (admitted or wait listed) before the end of April 2018.
