HOW TO APPLY

The New York French-American Charter School (NYFACS) is a Free, Public Charter School. 

You must be a resident of New York City in order to apply for a sEAT for your child AT NYFACS.

If a charter school receives more applications than seats available, it is required by law to hold a lottery.

Admission to NYFACS is by randomized lottery in April at the school, located on 311 West 120th Street, New York, NY 10027.

The lottery took place on APRIL 4TH, 2017

NYFACS Admission preferences are as follows:

1-  Sibling and Staff Priority

2- Students in District 3

3- Students in other NYC boroughs

Post Lottery:

Placement notices will be sent to all applicants before the end of April 2017.

Applicants who are admitted through the lottery will receive the registration packet needed to complete the Enrollment Process (see info below on how to complete the Admission Process)

Applicants who were not admitted through the lottery will be informed of their assigned lottery position, along with an “interest form” that they need to return to school by the specified date in order to be considered for any seat available for the upcoming school year.
